Plant Spotlight: Anubias Coffeefolia

Anubias Coffeefolia on Driftwood with Java Moss

Anubias Coffeefolia is a beautiful variant of the common Anubias Barteri that can grow to about 12 inches tall. It can thrive in both aquariums and terrariums. It has long stems, and the leaves have a ruffled texture and initially appear as a brownish-bronze (coffee) color and eventually turn a deep green. Anubias Coffeefolia is suitable as a midground, and background plant as the leaves can grow up to three inches long and may block other plants. This variant grows best when the rhizome (rootstalk) is attached to a hardscape. They have low to medium light requirements and can grow algae if placed under high lighting due to their slow growth. To add this plant to your aquarium or terrarium, you can find it in our shop. Happy Aquascaping!
